AI will drive the largest transformation in the way we work since the internet. But frontier models alone won’t get us there: every industry has its own unique challenges that must each be overcome for business users to extract maximum value from the technology.
Today, Pigment is announcing a $250M Series E funding round, with planned participation from NVIDIA, to define what frontier AI looks like for the business planning and performance management industry.
Our Series E funding
Today, we announced our Series E funding round: $250M at a $2.3B valuation. It was led by Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, with participation from WIL (World Innovation Lab), existing investors including Greenoaks, ICONIQ, IVP, and Meritech, and a planned investment from NVIDIA. Â
This year we surpassed $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), once again doubling year-over-year.Â
Enterprise juggernauts like Unilever, Snowflake, and Siemens are choosing Pigment, and so are the world’s leaders in AI like Anthropic and ElevenLabs.
The vision we’re working toward is autonomous planning: AI builds the forecast, runs the scenarios, updates the plan, and then executes, all within the guardrails your team sets.
Why we’re winning
The advent of agentic AI has acted as rocket fuel for Pigment’s growth.
Over the past nine months, it has shipped more than 50 AI capabilities, led by the Modeler Agent, which builds planning models and custom interfaces from plain-language instructions.Â
Today, 85% of new metrics on Pigment are created by an agent and 84% of accounts use AI every week. Pigment also connects directly to leading AI solutions such as Claude, so teams can plan from the tools they already use.
Next comes the Planner Agent, designed to run planning cycles end to end.
The reason we’re able to release these features and to see such strong adoption is, of course, partly down to the exceptional talent we have in house at Pigment - that’s at least half the equation.
The other half though is that we had a headstart over the competition. AI agents are only as good as the engine underneath them.
The secret sauce
Pigment Graphite, our proprietary, patent-pending compute engine, is the underlying infrastructure allowing us to push back the frontier of what’s possible with enterprise planning.
Today, Pigment allows thousands of human users and agents to work concurrently on a single, governed model: as demonstrated by a recent selection by L’Oréal, which is replacing its salary planning tool for their 95,000+ employees globally by deploying Pigment.
What’s next?
The funding round announced today will allow us to scale these capabilities even further. As global enterprises put frontier AI to work, Pigment will deliver the infrastructure that houses the context required.
We’ll be significantly accelerating R&D and expanding the engineering team, so if you’re a customer you can expect even more advanced features, and a more performant platform.
If you’re not a customer, you can try Pigment for free today. Or, if you’d like to jump on board, check our careers page to help us build the future of planning.
