I’m Sami Machta, Senior GTM Analyst here at Pigment and in the video below, I outline how we use Pigment to monitor pipeline health and the Analyst Agent to generate automated, weekly assessments.
Commentary
In the Pipeline Health Board, I’m able to filter relevant data by team, manager, rep, or stage. These boards include widgets that provide insights into pipeline mixes, such as industries, booking types, and top opportunities.
It’s super helpful because it gives me a really clear idea as to whether we’re putting effort into the right places.
But to take things even further, we can make use of the Analyst Agent. We have it run every Monday morning to assess all open opportunities in our pipeline. For each sales rep, it gives me a summary of the opportunities they have open and the overall ‘health’ of each one.
Health is a combination of two scores: quality (based on data completeness and contact quality, such as whether the correct buyers, pain points, and rationales have been input into Salesforce) and momentum (based on recent account activity, including stage age, activity over the last four weeks, etc).
Setting this up is super simple in Pigment. I chat with the Analyst Agent to discuss what I want, how it should be formatted, and any other relevant details, and it will then create a Mission Prompt for me.
That Mission Prompt is fully editable and allows me to tag Metrics and Dimensions so I can be sure the agent behaves correctly.
Once configured and tested, the mission is scheduled to run automatically. If I want, results can be automatically exported to platforms like Slack for delivery to sales leadership.
And that’s all! I hope that’s given you an idea of how much a power user like me is able to get out of a platform as powerful and flexible as Pigment is.
